Watertek Pty Ltd is a 100% Australian owned private company providing a comprehensive range of products and services to the irrigation industry. It has highly experienced staff that specialize in drip and sprinkler irrigation design, industrial pumping, pipeline design, installation and maintenance. The company is focused on irrigation project management and has a strong knowledge of the various strengths of all the major suppliers of pipelines, pumps, valves and irrigation products. This extensive industry knowledge enables selection of the best contractors and suppliers required for any kind of project.
The company was established in March 2004 in Griffith, New South Wales with the initial business focused on projects within the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area.
The inherent strength of Watertek lies in its experience within the Irrigation Industry. Watertek’s key personnel include project managers, mobile service technicians and a manufacturing department. We have been involved in the design, installation and management of over 200 highly technical irrigation projects. It is this experience that enables the Watertek team to appreciate how these projects need to be designed, installed and managed.
Watertek is committed to managing projects to the exact specifications of manufacturers and end users, within both specified budgets and timeframes. In addition the current drought conditions has forced customers particularly those who rely on water usage to become a lot more efficient in their usage. These two factors combined place Watertek in a very sound position within the Industry .
Watertek offers product and support from a wide range of substantial quality suppliers located throughout Australia. Watertek also has a very competent in-house design team and construction team specializing in the manufacturing of various irrigation system components.
The company’s range of products & services can be split into 5 different categories:
Broad Acre Irrigation – Sale,design and installation of large scale irrigation systems, e.g. vineyards, vegetable farms, Almonds etc. This area of the business has also been involved with the building,development and repairs of the M.I.A’s surrounding infrastructure.
Domestic irrigation systems – Sale,design and installation of domestic irrigation systems.
Industrial – Service and sales for all companies with mid to large level pumping requirements. Watertek services many of the surrounding wineries.
Retail – all other irrigation & pumping equipment sales, providing sales for farmers, domestic fittings, plumbers etc
Service & Repairs– Watertek provides a service & repair function for a lot irrigation industry requirements. This includes both large scale (vineyards) to domestic pumps.
Watertek’s policy is to consistently maintain its high quality standards whilst continually improving customer service and market position. This can only be achieved by meeting or exceeding customer’s expectations ’first time, every time’ and calls for a commitment to excellence. With this in mind Watertek is currently establishing a Quality Management System, planned and developed with the involvement of all management and consistently applied, monitored and continuously improved with the involvement of all staff, in accordance with the requirements of AS/NZS ISO 9001.
Watertek is currently developing a new warehouse facility which will be completed in June 2008. The new building offers increased storage capacity as well as a much improved retail area. (see image)
